After providing counselling to individuals/couples/families/groups in various Private Practices for many years, I have decided to open my own, one that feels authentic to who I am. I am a passionate, whole-hearted, and open-minded person who loves to work with people.
I have been working in the social service industry for over 13 years. I have worked in Residential Treatment Centres, to schools, to Temporary Housing, and more. Each location has been an incredible opportunity to learn, and grow my approach. I believe that safe and loving connection is a human necessity and a critical component of living a happy and healthy life.
My practice is welcoming, accessible, and non-judgmental. All people are welcome in this space. I practice from an eclectic lens (including Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Brief/Solution Focused Therapy, and more) with knowledge and respect for a trauma-focused perspective at my core.
There are many titles that I use besides social worker or therapist: friend, mother, partner, daughter, sister, safe space. All parts of who I am lend themselves to my heartfelt work. It is my joy to sit with you and hear what you have to say.

Adoption Competent
Parenting and Youth with Special Needs/Exceptionalities
Noelle Burke is a Registered Social Worker with experience dating back to 2003, supporting young people, adults, couples, and families as they navigate challenges impacting their well-being, relationships, and sense of self.
She holds an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Work (CYW), as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work (BSW, MSW). Noelle has also contributed research on child welfare practices across Ontario.
She is an adoption-competent therapist with specialized training in developmental trauma, grief and loss, and family systems. Her therapeutic approach is relational, hopeful, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s story. Noelle integrates Somatic approaches, Attachment-Based and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approaches, and EMDR to help clients untangle the deeper emotions and behaviours that can underlie distress, confusion, and disconnection from self and others.
Noelle works extensively with adult adoptees, adoptive families, and individuals navigating fertility, parenting, and challenging family dynamics. She also has significant experience supporting families through post-adoption transitions, parenting children and youth with special needs and considerations, and navigating the school system. Her clinical perspective is enriched by lived experience—as an adoptee herself and as the parent of a grown son—which brings depth, empathy, and insight into her work with non-traditional family systems.
Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling to concerts across North America and spending time with loved ones—both human and feline.
Emily Lewis MSW, RSW
Clinical Social Worker, Therapist
Emily specializes in:
Trauma Informed Care/Childhood Trauma
Perinatal/Postpartum Mental Health
Substance Use/Addiction
Suicidality and Self harm
I have 5-years of extensive clinical experience providing crisis management, short-term and long-term psychotherapy, systems navigation support, and skills building to women, men, and children. My work over these last five years has included working in women’s shelters, foster care agencies, OBGYN-departments and running a substance abuse recovery program. It is because of these experiences that compassion, empathy, safety and trust have become the foundation of my therapeutic approach.
I am a trauma-informed therapist meaning I understand that trauma can manifest in the body and mind in complex ways that can be scary to approach. I will provide you a space where you will feel safe and supported as you get curious on how to process your trauma, build new skills, and re-discover skills you already have in order to live a fulfilled life. I am a therapist with personal experiences in some of the areas I work in, which lends me to bring embodied awareness and compassion as I sit with you through the challenges and joys life brings.
I believe you are the expert of your own life, you bring your own uniqueness to the therapeutic space, which is why I tailor by therapy to each individual person drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness (and more!). Let’s get curious together and find how therapy can work for you!
